Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to on a part-time basis. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, collaborating with our global team to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that support our learning and education platforms. With a focus on Java and JavaScript, you will bring your expertise in full-stack development to drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications that meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions to support our learning and education platforms Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to determine the best available technologies Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/application updates and user feedback Triage product or device issues and debug/track/resolve by reading the resources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages 2 years of experience with data systems or algorithms 2 years of experience with full-stack development, back-end with Java, and front-end with JavaScript Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field Experience developing available technology Experience with person-facing analytics tools and data visualization Experience with large-scale ETL structures (data processing, modeling, and storage) Experience with backend, distributed systems development
