Senior Data Engineer to. Job Summary As a
Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems, ensuring high-quality data, and driving business growth through data-driven insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to develop and implement data solutions that meet the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines * Ensure high-quality data through data validation, data cleansing, and data governance * Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Apache Beam * Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement data-driven solutions * Work with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs * Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations, including SOX and GDPR * Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for C-Level leaders * Collaborate with other teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across the organization * Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data systems * Strong experience with data warehousing, data modeling, data access, and data storage strategies * Strong experience with SQL and query writing * Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Apache Beam * Experience with data governance, data validation, and data cleansing * Strong experience with data security and compliance with relevant regulations * Strong experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Strong experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or GCP * Strong experience with containerization, such as Docker or Kubernetes Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data systems * Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra or MongoDB * Experience with big data processing frameworks, such as Hadoop or Spark * Experience with data science tools, such as Pandas, NumPy, or R * Experience with machine learning algorithms and models * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as bolthires Cloud Dataflow or AWS Glue Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Strong experience with Agile development methodologies * Strong experience with version control systems, such as Git * Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (bolthires/CD) pipelines * Strong experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or GCP * Strong experience with containerization, such as Docker or Kubernetes * Strong experience with data security and compliance with relevant regulations * Strong experience with data governance, data validation, and data cleansing
