- *Key Responsibilities:**
As a Technical Specialist – Datacom Services, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert technical support and troubleshooting for careerzynith's datacom systems, including video servers, programming, and hardware installations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Resort Designing Group, FAM, OSI, and WDI, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Conducting thorough investigations with field specialists to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Managing vendor relationships and overseeing the delivery of consumables and equipment.
- Coordinating with other DPEP groups and service providers to deliver efficient technical solutions.
- Overseeing the refresh and recycling programs for datacom equipment.
- Preparing and presenting metrics on uptime, usage, trends, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with careerzynith's security policies and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with the Resort Designing Group to design and implement datacom systems that meet careerzynith's high standards.
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience in the AV/Technology industry, with a strong understanding of datacom systems and technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering and management, with a focus on datacom systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Work environment, and Service NOW.
- Proficiency in various video and audio merchant applications, including Sonify, QSC, Crestron, IOT, Synamedia, Genetec, SevOne, Forward Organizations, Splunk, Zabbix, Infoblox, and others.
- Strong understanding of commercial video distribution, sustainment, and execution.
- Experience with investigation and reporting tools, such as Splunk and Power BI.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience in the AV or technology industry, with a focus on video distribution, encoding, audio mixes, and IOT devices.
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering and management, with a focus on datacom systems.
- Experience with big data analytics and data visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of datacom security principles and industry best practices.
- Experience with datacom system design and implementation.
- *Education:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Video Technology, Data Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- Or, relevant certifications or equivalent work experience.
- *Licenses/Training:**
- Vendor-related certifications and training, such as QSC, Synamedia, Cisco, and others.
