Experienced Grant Writer Needed – Nonprofit & Social Impact Focus - Contract to Hire

Description:

We are a social impact consulting firm that helps nonprofits, community-based organizations, and mission-driven entities secure funding and build long-term grant sustainability. We are growing and looking for a skilled grant writer to join our contractor team on an ongoing, project basis.

What You’ll Do:

∙ Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with client missions and funding priorities

∙ Write compelling, competitive grant proposals (federal, state, foundation, and corporate)

∙ Develop grant narratives, logic models, budgets, and supporting documentation

∙ Assist with grant appeals and recovery strategies for previously declined applications

∙ Maintain quality and consistency across multiple client projects simultaneously

What We’re Looking For:

∙ 3+ years of grant writing experience with a demonstrated win record

∙ Familiarity with social services, education, behavioral health, or workforce development sectors (preferred)

∙ Strong ability to translate program data and impact stories into persuasive narratives

∙ Experience with both foundation/corporate grants AND government/federal funding streams

∙ Organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently with minimal oversight
