We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as an Experienced Life Events Advisor – Vulnerable Customers. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Life Events Advisor – Vulnerable Customers, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers through some of the most challenging times in their lives. Your key responsibilities will include: * Communicating directly with next of kin and third parties following the disclosure of a bereavement, terminal illness, or other significant life event via email, chat, and calls. * Managing bereavements and third-party access cases, including taking ownership of supporting our customers with formal and informal third-party access, such as Power of Attorney. * Supporting our customers who are currently in custody or incarceration. * Dealing with internal escalations and working closely with other domains in customer operations. * Communicating with the leadership team to share opportunities, identify risks and concerns, and provide feedback that aims to proactively improve the support we offer to our customers. * Meeting targets while receiving and providing continuous feedback. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Previous experience supporting customers dealing with grief, bereavements, or significant life events. * A strong track record of working with vulnerable customers or a robust understanding of bereavement support within the financial sector. * Experience in managing probate-related disclosures and enquiries. * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to talk on the telephone. * The ability to take and make calls is an essential requirement for this role. **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience working in a financial services company, particularly in a role that involves supporting vulnerable customers. * Knowledge of financial products and services, including bank accounts, credit cards, and investments. * Experience working with customers who have complex needs or requirements. **What's in it for you?** As an Experienced Life Events Advisor – Vulnerable Customers at arenaflex, you can expect: * A competitive salary of £28,050 - £34,000 per annum. * A guaranteed day off on your birthday if it falls on a day you're scheduled to work and it's outside of your training period. * The opportunity to work from home, with a fully remote role. * A £1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses, and conferences. * A Macbook and additional support for your work-from-home setup. * Plus lots more! A Role-Specific Interview with two of our Team Managers (1 hour) Our average process takes around 2 weeks, but we will always work around your availability. **Logistics** This role will be fully remote in the UK (You must be permanently based in the UK for this role). The start date for this role will be Monday, 10th November 2025. Training will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 for 10 weeks, and this will be carried out remotely (please note that holidays and appointments are not allowed during the first 5 weeks).
