You must be able to transcribe from handwritten notes.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our Multi clinic Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality AND be able to fulfill daily quota.
- Duties
- Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
- Edit transcribed documents for grammar and clarity
- Ensure all transcribed documents are accurate and comply with medical terminology standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data security
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed
- Experience
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures
- Excellent typing skills to transcribe efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Previous experience in medical transcription is a plus
· Physical Therapy experience preferred.
· Must be able to work in person at our Livonia location
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
