Our IT department plays a vital role in supporting our business operations, and we're seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to. Job Summary: As a Network Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime to our business operations by proactively investigating network issues and collaborating with our vendors to drive towards service restoration.

You'll work closely with our IT team to identify and resolve network-related problems, provide technical guidance and support to clients and colleagues, and contribute to the development of our IT infrastructure and cloud services. Key Responsibilities: * Arrange and deliver Cisco equipment as required * Review and process Organization Trucks satisfaction requests * Support and process Organization Trucks project tasks * Attend scheduled training to ensure ability to support existing and future state network conditions: Warehouse, Terminal, Server farm, Provincial Office, Colocation, and Cloud * Understand ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes * Suggest or implement enhancements for team processes and procedures * Ensure that incident documentation is thorough, accurate, and complete * Provide guidance and direction to clients, teams, and other support personnel regarding daily activities, project drives, network activities, and support issues * Build and maintain helpful, cooperative, effective relationships * Provide responses to clients by identifying issues, exploring replies, and directing clients through remedial actions * Provide essential technical support and ensure compliance to established rules and methods for monitoring performance * Fix issues in LAN framework, testing, and designing software * Assess network performance to improve the organization * Plan upgrades and maintenance without disrupting business workflow * Provide technical guidance and give network frameworks training to colleagues * Work with vendors to obtain required hardware for the organizations and frameworks * Identify, analyze, and resolve network transmission and switching framework issues while minimizing impact on client service * Distinguish between primary and secondary network failures * Work the Network Support episode line including opening, focusing, investigating, following-up, telling, raising, conveying, recording, and attracting extra assets on a case-by-case basis for incident resolution.

This includes dispatching Local Exchange Carriers (LECs), heightening, and working with supplier(s) per established Network Support escalation guidelines * Answer and contribute to Arrange Support hotline calls to assist end clients and minimize business interruption * Answer Network Support email requests and demands * Work out Network Support proactive daily task list * Delegate assigned tasks in Smartsheet * Lead and participate in weekly team meetings * Open and monitor Cisco TAC cases on defective Cisco hardware and track the entire process * Review and direct corporate office data wardrobes Requirements: * Essential understanding of Ethernet, Fiber, Casing Transfer, AVPN, ISDN, Dedicated IP, and Steering protocols * Essential knowledge of network equipment and software including switches, routers, and wireless controllers * Essential understanding of subnetting, VLANs, and network geography * Magnificent written/verbal communication skills, phone behavior, and customer service skills * High-level skills in investigation and analysis with incidents and issues * Experience or understanding of ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes * Shown strong work ethic and positive, developed, professional attitude * Should be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision * Process-oriented, understands the benefits of processes, and the need for consistency * Ability to explain or convey technical terms to non-technical audiences * Effectively search for, suggest or implement enhancements for team processes and methodology * Should be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints * Innovative, creative, and very responsive with a strong desire to keep moving * Should be a team player and work collaboratively with others sharing ideas, working together, and ultimately putting team objectives first * Shown strong organizational skills to comply with tight time constraints * A strong understanding of bolthires Suite * Periodic travel may be required * Willing to help off-hours function as required, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-call liabilities on a rotational basis Preferred
