Remote Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of data-driven strategies, analyzing key performance indicators, and providing actionable insights to support business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories through data analysis and insights Analyze critical data and integrate findings and recommendations into category plans, including ideal SKU mix, loyalty programs, and special projects Drive strategic execution of daily assortment activities, such as tracking promotional periods and performing present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary Collaborate with an internal team of arenaflex experts in Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market competition, seeking out new competitive opportunities and making recommendations Stay up-to-date with changes in the market, including customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive landscape Research customer product inclinations, supplier costs, and the competitive climate to inform business decisions Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Statistics.
Additionally, candidates should have: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application Technical expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with Access or other database software Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in data analysis, marketing, or a related field Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Experience with project management software and methodologies Certification in data analysis or a related field
