- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Fleet Engineering Support, your key responsibilities will include:
- **Staying Informed**: Stay up-to-date on day-to-day airline operations, including field of responsibility, and assess daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.
- **Investigating Issues**: Investigate aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- **Providing Engineering Support**: Provide Engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status.
- **Responding to Requests**: Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems.
- **Developing Action Plans**: Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities.
- **Coordinating with Other Departments**: Coordinate with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions.
- **Preparing Engineering Documents**: Prepare Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong emphasis on math and science.
- **Data Entry Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in data entry, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with data management software and systems.

- **Bachelor's Degree**: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, mathematics, or computer science.

- **Aircraft Maintenance Experience**: Experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong understanding of aircraft systems and components.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications, such as A&P or IA, are highly desirable.
