- *Job Summary**
As a Part-Time Storage Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with our site manager to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the site manager with facility operations
- Answering phone inquiries from active and prospective customers
- Showing storage units, explaining rental agreements, and preparing contracts
- Performing routine property cleanup and minor repair work
- Ensuring vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers
- Participating in ongoing continuous education through careerzynith University
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive the help they need on their journeys
- Support the site manager with facility operations, including routine maintenance and repairs
- Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers, responding to their needs and concerns
- Show storage units, explain rental agreements, and prepare contracts for new customers
- Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work, ensuring the facility is clean and secure
- Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through careerzynith University, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- *Minimum Qualifications**
- Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
- *Work Environment**
- The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals
- May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields
- The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
