If you're passionate about delivering high-quality results, communicating effectively, and staying up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations, we want to hear from you. **Job Summary:** As a Patient Advocate, Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently translating critical healthcare information and test orders from test request forms into our database. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities will enable you to effectively communicate missing elements and ensure a high level of quality throughput. You'll work closely with our team to maintain compliance with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and data security. **Key Responsibilities:** * Timely and accurate data entry and management of patient orders * Translate critical healthcare information and test orders from test request forms into our database accurately and timely * Review received orders for required elements and effectively communicate missing elements to clients and team members * Ensure a high level of quality throughput and maintain compliance with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations * Collaborate with the Customer Success team to resolve client inquiries and concerns * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations and industry best practices * Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and data entry activities **Essential Qualifications:** * High School diploma or equivalent * At least 6 months of experience in data entry, preferably in a medical setting * Detail-oriented and accurate with a strong focus on quality * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and management * Proficient in Windows and Internet Browsers * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Complies with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations **Preferred Qualifications:** * 1 year of experience in a medical setting * Higher net typing speed (at least 60 wpm) * Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software * Familiarity with CLIA and HIPAA regulations * Certification in medical terminology or a related field **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures * Strong research skills and ability to stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare regulations and industry best practices **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
