Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing exceptional customer service. A Day in the Life


As a Front End Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:



  • Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required

  • Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions

  • Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing

  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer

  • Create and maintain accurate customer records

Required Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications


While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:



  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry

  • PTCB National Certification

Compensation and Benefits


The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour.
