Job Summary As an experienced Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, and contributing to the growth and development of arenaflex's pharmacy team.
You will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient pharmacy operations. Key Responsibilities * Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, under direct supervision. * Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory. * Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Develop strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote patient-centric care. * Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and patient care. * Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient prescription processing, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions. * Maintain accurate records, including patient information, medication lists, and inventory management.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager, personnel pharmacist, or store supervisor. Essential Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or degree preferred. * Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment. * Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software.
* Knowledge of inventory management and store operations. Preferred Qualifications * Six months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment. * Previous work experience with arenaflex. * % certification or degree in pharmacy technology. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
