The successful candidate will be responsible for moderating the chat, enforcing community guidelines, and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities Monitor and moderate the chat in real-time, addressing any violations of the community guidelines and taking appropriate action, including deleting messages, banning or muting users, and investigating reports.
Enforce community rules and guidelines consistently and fairly, ensuring that all users are held to the same standards. Provide exceptional user experience by responding to user inquiries, resolving issues, and offering support in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other moderators and team members to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to community management. Stay up-to-date with community trends, issues, and concerns, and provide feedback and insights to help improve the overall user experience.
Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age or older. Hold a High School Diploma or GED. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with users of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Be able to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline. Have a strong understanding of online community management principles and practices.
Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience in chat moderation, community management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Discord and its features. Experience with conflict resolution and issue escalation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
