Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of support functions to assist our department in achieving its goals.
Your key responsibilities will include: Handling multiple projects simultaneously and assisting in compiling data and generating reports as required. Utilizing your fast typing skills to accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems. Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders, demonstrating a good command of English both orally and in writing. Maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of your work. Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to the overall success of arenaflex.
Essential Skills and Experience To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and experience: A high school degree or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency. Fast typing skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel. A working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
A basic understanding of databases and their applications. Good command of English, both orally and in writing, with strong customer service skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and quality in your work. Preferred Skills and Experience While not essential, the following skills and experience are preferred: Knowledge of touch typing systems, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
Equipment Specifications To perform your duties effectively, you will need to have access to the following equipment: Dual monitors, to enable you to have Teams and Outlook open simultaneously. A keyboard with a 10-key number pad, for efficient data entry. Windows 10 or 11 operating system, to ensure compatibility with our systems. An ISP download speed of 25Mbps or higher, to support reliable and efficient communication. A minimum screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 (higher preferred), to ensure clear and crisp visuals.
A laptop that is capable of running an external monitor at the prescribed resolution, if you plan to use a laptop as your primary device. A web camera, for participating in Teams meetings and virtual collaborations. A headset or external speakers, for clear and reliable communication during calls. Please note that Chromebooks and Macbooks are not supported for this role.
