Your primary responsibilities will include: Accurately entering and updating data into our organization's database Verifying and correcting data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and consistency Maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information Collaborating with team members to enhance data management tactics and improve overall efficiency Meeting established deadlines for data entry tasks and delivering high-quality results Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and functional knowledge of data modeling Proficiency in any scripting programming language (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is preferred Knowledge of project development methodologies is also preferred Strong computer skills with substantial knowledge of Excel, including VBA Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role Proficiency in data entry and management software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Effective communication skills and a team player mentality Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience with data automation and process improvement Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Certification in data entry or a related field Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
