Job Overview In this critical role, you will be part of the Investigation and Conduct Change team, responsible for building industry-leading analytics, data, and technology platforms to support the transformation of healthcare. Key Responsibilities Implementing models, developing tools, and algorithms to optimize processes related to the case environment of Health Care Business (HCB) Identifying and measuring opportunities for analysis to improve efficiency and increase automation in claim settlement and claim adjustment Creating, validating, and executing algorithms and predictive models to investigate issues, identify patterns, and suggest solutions Analyzing, comparing, and interpreting large volumes of data in various formats Performing analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve moderately complex business problems Utilizing advanced statistical techniques and numerical analyses Designing data architectures and pipelines to integrate, collect, and standardize data that generates insights and addresses reporting needs Using data visualization methods to communicate analytical results and support business decisions effectively Assessing and evaluating the data needs of assigned projects and ensuring the integrity of the data Investigating existing data and suggesting additional sources of data for enhancements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics At least 2+ years of significant scientific experience, preferably in the health and wellness industry Experience programming using R or Python Experience with SQL and data management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as a Master's or Ph.D.
