- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting customers and teammates with a smile, and proactively approaching customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
- Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
- Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
- Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
- Collaborating with teammates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer experiences
- Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a seamless shopping experience
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company initiatives to provide informed and engaging customer interactions
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and teammates
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the sports industry
- Knowledge of careerzynith products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop product expertise
- Experience with visual merchandising and inventory management
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and teammates
