Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the development and maintenance of data foundation conditions that enable report automation for the arenaflex Healthcare Quality Improvement program – Data and Insights commercialization.
Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of arenaflex Health data and insights drives and projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. Support long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing activities to meet arenaflex Health reporting and analysis expectations. Design, develop, and deploy layered databases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects, leveraging expertise in data modeling and data governance. Establish data organizing and pre-processing principles for populating legitimate and physical data models attached to report-specific working tables for both project business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements.
Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large datasets from various internal arenaflex production system sources and third-party files. Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare datasets (e.g., member eligibility, clinical claims, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS files). Develop internal tools for automation of all progress-related activities (data processing, QA, data validation, etc.).
Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science. Proven, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data governance principles. Experience designing and deploying intelligently isolated data environments using ETL/ELT services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake. Experience providing thought leadership and presenting tool-agnostic semantic data layer enhancements connected with BI technology platforms like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and vendor partners. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making principles. At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving team success and collaboration.
Able to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Certified Analytics
Professional (CAP) or equivalent certification, demonstrating expertise in data analysis and interpretation. Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its trends.
