Senior Data Engineer to join our Information Designing group. As a
Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, planning and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of data management while working flexibly from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues in various activities around data requirements gathering, data validation scripting, and review Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL Plan and implement database schema/tables/views, as well as deployment across multiple environments, such as DEV, QA/UAT, and Push Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role 2+ years of experience with SQL 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3 Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Proficiency in SQL, Python, Gitlab, Windstream, AWS S3, and Social Databases Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will need: Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene A graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry 2+ years of experience using, designing, and building social databases 2+ years of experience using Gitlab/Github and Docker
