We're seeking an experienced Senior Director - Customer Sales South to lead our customer sales efforts in the region. As a key leader within arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering business results across assigned territory, leading annual planning processes, and negotiating annual agreements to ensure alignment and execution of aggressive business targets. You'll provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex customer issues and deliver arenaflex annual goals.
- *Responsibilities**
- **Customer Development**: Lead a cross-functional team to deliver business results across assigned territory, focusing on Publix and SEG customers.
- **Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement annual plans to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives, working closely with Sr. Management and cross-functional teams.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including Publix and SEG, to drive business growth and innovation.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Analyze data and insights to inform business decisions, using tools like Alteryx, Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI), and Tableau.
- **System Leadership**: Participate in system routines, such as CCLT and Customer Core Teams, to provide customer updates and ensure flawless execution of customer programs and initiatives.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with Coca-Cola sales teams to maximize mutual goals, results, and execution, and leverage relationships with BASN teams and Bottlers to ensure alignment and focus on delivering key customer objectives.
- **Organizational Development**: Coach and mentor team members, direct reports, and support staff, providing subject matter expertise on customer needs and ensuring the team is supported and resourced to achieve business priorities.
- *Requirements**
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required.
- **Experience**: 8 years of direct sales experience in the CPG industry, with a track record of successfully selling into multiple national and regional channel customers.
- **Location**: Located in Southeast or Texas preferred.
- **Recent Experience**: Recent Publix and SEG experience preferred.
- **DSD Beverage Background**: DSD beverage background preferred.
- **Self-Motivation and Organization**: Self-motivated and highly organized, with a strong desire to produce results and an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess business needs and develop action plans to manage required change.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals.
- **Computer Skills**: Solid computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with a strong understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data.
