About the Credit & Fraud Risk Finance Team
The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team at arenaflex provides fact-based, decision-driven, and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk-related insights and deep analytics. Senior Analyst Role Overview
The
Senior Analyst role at arenaflex is a critical position that supports local Finance teams, Risk Management, and Marketing teams with all aspects of Loss Provision. Our key responsibilities include planning, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on building financial forecasts for Net Loss Provision to inform funding decisions. As a
Senior Analyst, you will communicate monthly results and highlight key drivers of change to enable long-term planning. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a highly talented team with a strong passion for solving business problems through data and insights.
Key Responsibilities Support Provision especially recoveries Forecasting & Results Analysis of our International Card portfolios, via a close partnership with Chief Credit Officers in the regions Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management Provide thought leadership in the development/enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models as well as strategic business analytics Work cross-functionally on projects across the Risk Finance agency to help arenaflex meet its long-term growth targets Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience working with financial analytics using large quantities of data.
Advanced Excel modeling skills and a high degree of scalability in PowerPoint are required. Proficiency in SQL, Hive/Yellow Brick is also required, with Python being preferred. Experience with TM1, Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools is strongly preferred. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is necessary, with previous card/risk management experience and/or 1+ years of work experience being preferred. Essential Skills and Competencies Highly motivated individual with a preference to work on ambiguous tasks, with the ability to break down and execute complex ideas Data-driven, outcome-focused, and a quick learner Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts Ability to solve ad-hoc business problems independently and manage multiple priorities and tasks while adhering to deadlines
