The arenaflex Chat team is responsible for developing and maintaining the real-time chat application that is at the heart of our platform. As a Senior iOS Software Engineer on this team, you will be working closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality that meet the needs of our users. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality for the arenaflex Chat application
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to identify and prioritize new features and functionality
- Work closely with the arenaflex community to understand their needs and preferences, and to design and develop features that meet those needs
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the arenaflex Chat application, and work with the development team to identify and fix bugs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in iOS and mobile app development, and apply that knowledge to improve the arenaflex Chat application
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience as an iOS software engineer, with a focus on mobile app development
- Strong understanding of iOS development principles and best practices, including Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with real-time chat applications and messaging platforms
- Strong understanding of community engagement and user experience principles, and the ability to apply those principles to design and develop features that meet the needs of arenaflex users
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and fix complex issues with the arenaflex Chat application
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other engineers, designers, and product managers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
