About the Role


We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Customer Support Agent to join our team, providing top-notch support to our enterprise customers using our cloud-based data science platform. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for addressing their questions, concerns, and issues via email, chat, and video/voice calls. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless customer experiences, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with our engineering team to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Understand customers' questions and problems, gathering all necessary information to resolve issues efficiently and effectively

  • Provide direct answers to customers' questions and make suggestions to resolve queries, or work closely with our engineering team to address more complex issues

  • Experiment with test deployments of our software to better understand its functionality and reproduce customers' scenarios

  • Maintain the configuration of customers' infrastructure, replicating key components of their environments to reproduce and resolve reported issues

  • Inquire about customers' high-level data science goals to recommend features, workflows, and provide feedback to our product development team

  • Contribute to improving our public-facing product documentation and create internal guidance documents to streamline support requests

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • Experience supporting or working with highly technical products, preferably using cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) and enterprise-scale systems such as Kubernetes

  • Structured and analytical problem-solving abilities, with a professional and positive attitude when working under pressure

  • Ability to work with a distributed team and customer base using tools such as JIRA, Slack, and Zoom

  • Experience working directly with customers, as well as with engineering and product management teams

  • Remote work experience, with a willingness to work in a US time zone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying on a cloud provider

  • Knowledge of Git

  • Experience with CI/CD

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience using infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Terraform)
