<h6>Job Description</h6>
<p> We are currently hiring a <strong>Fabrication and Finishing Technician</strong> to join our manufacturing team. This position combines hands-on metal fabrication, precision welding, and advanced finishing processes such as hydro-dipping and Cerakote coating. The ideal candidate has both technical skill and artistic attention to detail, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of strength, functionality, and visual appeal. </p>
<h6>Responsibilities</h6>
<ul>
<li>Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals, ensuring structural integrity and high-quality weld appearance.</li>
<li>Fabricate and assemble custom metal components based on engineering drawings or CAD designs.</li>
<li>Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication and finishing equipment in accordance with safety procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare surfaces for hydro-dipping by cleaning, sanding, priming, and applying decorative coatings.</li>
<li>Apply Cerakote coatings, including surface prep, mixing, spraying, and curing for optimal durability and finish quality.</li>
<li>Use CAD software (such as Onshape, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD) to design, modify, or prototype components as needed.</li>
<li>Conduct quality inspections to verify that all welds, coatings, and finishes meet company standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers and production staff to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and design accuracy.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety and environmental guidelines.</li>
</ul>
<h6>Requirements</h6>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in welding, metal fabrication, or industrial finishing.</li>
<li>Valid welding certification (AWS, CWB, or equivalent) required.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD software (Onshape, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD).</li>
<li>Experience with hydro-dipping, Cerakote, or similar coating processes strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and craftsmanship.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active manufacturing environment.</li>
</ul>
<h6>Compensation & Schedule</h6>
<ul>
<li>Pay Range: <strong>$23.00 – $25.00 per hour</strong> based on experience and certifications.</li>
<li>Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week).</li>
<li>Work Location: On-site at our Ashland, Ohio facility.</li>
