About the role
We’re looking for an experienced performance marketer to teach our team how to properly set up, track, and evaluate paid advertising. This role is focused on education, system design, and documentation—not day-to-day ad management.
You will help us build a clear, repeatable framework for:
- Setting up paid ads correctly
- Implementing accurate conversion tracking
- Measuring performance with a business-level ads scorecard
The goal is simple: we want to understand and own our paid media system, not outsource it blindly.

What You’ll Do
Teach Paid Ads Foundations
- Walk our team through best-practice paid ads setup (Meta first)
- Explain campaign structure, optimization logic, and learning phases
- Teach how to test creatives, audiences, and offers intentionally
- Help us understand why decisions are made—not just what to click
Teach Tracking & Measurement (Core Focus)
- Guide the setup of Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI)
- Teach how to configure and validate conversion events
- Explain attribution, event prioritization, and common tracking failures
- Help us audit and trust our data across platforms
Build the Ads Scorecard Framework
- Design a simple, repeatable ads scorecard we can maintain internally
- Define which metrics matter at each stage (ads → funnel → revenue)
- Teach how to interpret performance and diagnose problems
- Help leadership connect ad performance to real business outcomes
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Create clear documentation, checklists, and SOPs
- Record walkthroughs or live training sessions
- Leave us with a system that works without you
