We are a post-revenue company with locked-down intellectual property, currently entertaining a seed funding round. Our founding team consists of 2 AI/ML/Data Science PhDs and 1 MBA, with advanced degrees from Brown, Harvard, and Georgetown. We operate fully remotely.
- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will lead our government contracting lifecycle. You’ll be the one filing the paperwork, mapping the stakeholders at Lockheed and Northrop, and drafting the technical responses for SBIRs and RFIs
- Entity Management: Own the UEI and SAM.gov lifecycle. Ensure our representations and certifications are bulletproof.
- Security & Compliance: Spearhead our CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) program and prepare us for CMMC Level 2 readiness. You’ll be setting up the protocols that make us acquirable
- Prime Hunting: Identify and pitch to Small Business Liaison Officers (SBLOs) at major Primes (Lockheed, Raytheon, Booz Allen) to get us added to their approved vendor lists
- Proposal Lead: Write and submit SBIR/STTR Phase I & II applications. You’ll translate our AI capabilities into "government-speak.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor GovWin, Sam.gov, and Tradewinds for AI-specific solicitations that fit our tech stack
- COMPENSATION:
- Equity Package: Significant equity stake with 3-year vesting schedule. You are willing to start off with a base pay comprised only of equity shares
- Performance Accelerators: Bonuses for achieving key milestones (first government contract, prime contractor partnership, etc.)
- YOUR PROFILE:
- Experience: 1–6 years in federal contracting, defense tech, or a GovTech startup. You’ve seen the process, but you’re still "in the trenches" enough to do the work yourself
- Technical Acumen: Ability to articulate AI/ML capabilities and translate them into mission-critical solutions for national security applications
- Networker: You know how to navigate a LinkedIn thread or a DC industry day to find the actual decision-makers
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable operating in a startup environment; ability to build sales processes from the ground up and wear multiple hats
