About the position
Leidos is seeking full-time and part-time Mortgage Origination Professionals to support the FHA Resource Center in Albuquerque, NM, and Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing customer service related to FHA mortgage policies and procedures, utilizing a background in mortgage origination to assist clients effectively. The position offers opportunities for telework after training based on performance and customer approval.
Responsibilities
Ā Provide excellent customer service by answering calls and emails regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.

Ā Utilize mortgage industry knowledge to find answers in a knowledge database for client requests.

Ā Follow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels.

Ā Document all contacts in a database accurately.

Ā Stay updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.
Requirements
Ā High School diploma or GED certificate.
,
Ā Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer).

Ā Minimum of 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience.
,
Ā Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.
Nice-to-haves
Ā Bilingual (Spanish & English), verbal and written.

Ā Strong FHA knowledge/background.

Ā Contact center experience (Omnichannel).
