About the position
- Responsibilities
- Account for all materials and supplies in the stores' facilities.
- Audit goods received into the warehouse.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.
- Process incoming orders for materials, merchandise, or services.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Examine and inspect stock items for damage, defects, or shortages, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Prepare product for scheduled surgeries.
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Inform customers of receipt, shipping, and delays.
- Interact with the team during service level investigations.
- Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product errors.
- Use computers to maintain accurate account records and shipment of inventory.
- Review overdue shipment returns and partner with dispatcher to schedule the return.
- Assist in FQMS compliance, and support management in preparation for branch audits.
- Train on different product lines in preparation for on-call responsibilities.
- Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment - required.
- Warehouse/Inventory Control experience in a demanding and fast-paced environment - preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent - required.
- Associates degree - preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend and evening on-call as needed - required.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule - required.
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record - required.
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs - required.
