Job Summary:
The Regulatory Reporting Financial Analyst role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing complex regulatory financial schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements, particularly for FR Y-14 reports.
This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets to identify trends, variances, and anomalies while supporting regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, investigate, and document variances during the preparation of FR Y-14 M/Q schedules.
- Execute key reporting and process controls, including period-over-period trends, variance analysis, edit checks, and cross-report reconciliations.
- Collaborate with multiple lines of business to ensure timely and accurate report submissions.
- Operate with limited supervision while exercising independent judgment and autonomy.
- Perform ad hoc duties within the Regulatory Reporting and Compliance team.
- Required Experience:
- Experience in financial services with exposure to regulatory reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and risk/control mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience with Axiom (preferred).
