Financial Analyst II-Ops

Flexcon is a company that focuses on efficient product delivery at manufacturing locations. The Operations Finance Analyst role involves supporting finance activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to process improvements and cost management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain Finance activities by assisting with cost management initiatives, helping analyze capital expenditures, and participating in inventory optimization efforts. This includes learning to review financial data, identify trends and variances, and work with cross‑functional teams to support informed operational decisions
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to support process improvement efforts and help ensure alignment with financial objectives. Gain exposure to cross‑functional workflows while contributing to efficiency and cost‑control initiatives
• Assist in analyzing production costs by monitoring actual spending, identifying variances, and supporting the identification of cost‑saving opportunities under the guidance of senior team members
• Work with plant operational leaders to support financial planning activities, including forecasting production expenses and evaluating the financial impact of manufacturing processes
• Support accurate financial reporting and assist with projects (i.e. capital expenditure) by preparing analyses, validating data, and contributing financial insights to support decision‑Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree: Accounting, Business, Finance major preferred
• 1-3 years previous accounting/business/manufacturing experience
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
• Strong communicator that is comfortable working with individuals across an organization with an emphasis on working closely with Accounting, IT, Operations and other cross functional departments
