Looking for a skilled freelance financial analyst with strong experience in venture capital and private equity scenarios. The task involves building detailed financial models and conducting valuation analysis based on a series of investment scenarios. The work will include interpreting convertible notes, equity ownership structures, and leveraged buyout (LBO) projections, as well as comparing valuation multiples. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and analyze financial models involving convertible notes with conversion discounts or valuation caps. -Calculate equity ownership percentages post-financing rounds. -Perform LBO projections, including forecasting sales, costs, capital expenditures, and working capital over multiple years. -Conduct valuation comparisons using price-to-earnings ratios and PEG ratios to assess relative overvaluation or undervaluation. -Evaluate investment returns and carried interest calculations for private equity funds. Ideal Skills and Experience: -Strong background in financial analysis, particularly within venture capital and private equity contexts. -Proficiency in building complex financial models (Excel expertise is a must). -Ability to interpret and analyze term sheets, valuation methods, and equity ownership structures. -Clear and concise communication skills to deliver the final analysis in a well-organized format.
