Simply Academy is a leading UK training provider in the mortgage, financial advice and insurance sectors. We are looking for an experienced Financial Services Curriculum Writer to support our Head of Curriculum in developing high-quality learning content.
The role involves helping to create and update regulatory qualification content and skills-based learning for mortgage advisers, financial advisers and insurance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Write and update financial services curriculum content
Support the development of regulated qualification materials
Create learner-focused resources (manuals, study guides, assessments, case studies)
Help develop practical skills and competency-based content
Work closely with the Head of Curriculum and subject matter experts
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Experience writing financial services education or training content
Strong knowledge of UK financial services regulation (FCA)
Experience in mortgages, financial advice or insurance
Clear, structured writing style
Desirable:
Experience with regulated qualifications (e.g. LIBF/CII)
Background as an adviser, trainer, assessor or compliance professional

Location: UK-based preferred
Contract: Freelance / project-based (potential ongoing work)
