- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of network security engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Checkpoint preferred; Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, SonicWall acceptable)
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, proxy, DNS)
- Experience supporting VPNs, routing, and segmentation
- Experience working with distributed teams and shifting priorities
Technical Skills
- Required
- Network security tools (Wireshark, Snort, Nagios or similar)
- SIEM monitoring and incident analysis
- NetFlow traffic analysis
- Firewall policy management and troubleshooting
- Network fundamentals (routing, NAT, VLANs)
- Preferred
- Algosec, Panorama, or vendor firewall management tools
- Automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Cloud networking security
- Healthcare or regulated environments
