Skills

  • You self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) in Canada
  • Experience working with First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples (and communities and expertise in issues faced by Indigenous peoples and communities in Canada)
  • Proficiency in an Indigenous language is a valuable asset. Your language skills can foster connections and enhance understanding within our diverse team, contributing to our commitment to reconciliation and inclusivity
  • A post-secondary education in a field related to Administration or Project Coordination
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate work experience demonstrating a track record of achievement and impact
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of economic development or a related field
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaborative platforms
  • Experience on bidding sites such as Merx or Biddingo
