Job Description
Heka Global is a Series A fintech company focused on delivering web intelligence to financial institutions. They are seeking a Founding Business Development Representative to lead their U.S. expansion by architecting the outbound engine for their sales organization and securing meetings with complex financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute High-Volume Outbound: Own the top-of-funnel execution via personalized email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to build a consistent pipeline
- Strategic Account Mapping: Research and map key stakeholders within complex organizations like Tier 1 banks and pension funds to identify ideal entry points
- Qualify Leads: Conduct initial discovery to ensure prospects have the pain points and budget that align with Hekaβs AI capabilities
- Craft Messaging: Partner with Marketing and the Founding AE to iterate on outbound sequences and persona-driven value propositions
- Build the Prospecting Playbook: Document successful outreach tactics, objection handlers, and market insights to help scale the BDR function
- Optimize CRM: Maintain a clean and organized CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) to ensure seamless hand-offs to the AE team
Skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- 1β3 years of experience in B2B tech sales or lead generation (bonus for experience in fintech or fraud prevention)
- Native-level English with exceptional writing skills and the ability to articulate complex technical values simply
- You have a 'builder' mentality and the persistence required to break into large, traditional financial institutions
- Familiarity with modern sales stacks (e.g., SalesNav, Lemlist, HubSpot, Monday CRM)
