Fractional CFO Consultant (1099 | Commission Per Client | Remote) Earning Potential: $36,000 – $96,000+ per year This is not a salaried position. If you're a seasoned financial professional who wants to build your own client base, work remotely, and get paid for every client you serve — read on. If you're looking for a traditional W2 role with a fixed salary, this isn't the right fit, and we want to be upfront about that. What This Actually Is Simple CFO Partners is a fractional CFO firm exclusively serving real estate investors. We're looking for experienced financial professionals to join our consultant network as independent contractors (1099). You'll be assigned clients, serve them using our proven systems, and earn a commission-based fee for each client in your portfolio. The more clients you successfully serve, the more you earn. Our top consultants build portfolios of 8–15 clients working fully remotely. This is a great fit if you: • Have strong CFO-level financial skills but want flexibility and ownership over your schedule • Are comfortable being paid per client rather than a fixed salary • Can transition into a role that involves some business development and client relationship building • Want a proven system, training, and brand behind you — without starting from scratch What You'll Do • Serve an assigned portfolio of real estate investor clients (flippers, wholesalers, rental operators, and more) • Deliver financial clarity using Simple CFO's proprietary systems, including Profit First methodology, based on the book Profit First for Real Estate Investors written by Simple CFOs owner • Conduct regular financial reviews, cash flow forecasting, and strategic planning with clients • Communicate complex financial concepts in plain language to non-financial business owners • Track KPIs and help clients build sustainable financial habits • Collaborate with our internal team on client success and retention What We're Looking For • Proven background as a Controller, CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior financial role • At least 1 year of direct experience working with real estate investors (required — this is non-negotiable) • QuickBooks Online proficiency (required) • Exceptional communication skills — you'll be teaching and advising, not just reporting numbers • Entrepreneurial mindset — you're energized by growing a client base, not intimidated by it • High integrity and commitment to acting in clients' best interests What Simple CFO Provides • Comprehensive training on our systems and methodology before you go live with clients • A recognized brand in the real estate investing space, founded by investor and author David Richter • Client matching and assignment support • Ongoing team collaboration and support infrastructure Compensation Structure Pay is commission-based per client served.
