Role Description
We are seeking a Fractional CFO/Controller with expertise in the construction industry for a contract and remote role. The professional will oversee all financial operations, including financial planning, reporting, and risk management, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, implementing financial controls, creating strategies for business improvement, and providing actionable insights to optimize cash flow and drive profitability.
- Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, Finance, and Analytical Skills to inform data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and delivering insightful Financial Reporting.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and compliance regulations within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction-specific financial software and experience in project-based financial management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
