Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to and work directly with founder-led companies ready to scale. If you’ve got an entrepreneurial mindset, a knack for operational excellence, and love helping businesses break free from the founder-reliant model, this is the role for you! This is a client-facing, contract-based position with the flexibility to work remotely or hybrid depending on client needs. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the charge in strategic planning and operational execution across multiple client organizations • Build and optimize systems for financial oversight, reporting, and budgeting that actually make a difference • Design and implement processes that fuel growth, improve efficiency, and support scalability • Drive team performance and accountability through structured leadership and clear communication • Turn visionary ideas into concrete operational plans, ensuring measurable results every step of the way • Act as a trusted thought partner to founders, guiding them through growth pains and providing solutions to the inevitable challenges that come with scaling • bolthires risks and opportunities before they arise, giving clients the insight they need to safeguard long-term value

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. • At least 1 year of experience serving clients fractionally in a consulting or contract-based environment—no micromanaging here, you’ll be a key strategic partner • At least 3 years of experience in an Integrator role at a company using EOS, with a demonstrated ability to implement, execute, and optimize EOS processes.

• Experience in working with fast-growing businesses and a solid understanding of the challenges of scaling a company while ensuring operational alignment with strategic goals. • Prior fractional or consulting experience with EOS clients is a plus but not required. • Strong financial skills—budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and financial reporting are your second nature • An analytical mind with a talent for solving complex problems and transforming chaos into order • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while keeping a collaborative and results-oriented atmosphere • Top-tier communication skills to align stakeholders and keep everyone moving in the right direction • Experience with high-growth, venture-backed businesses (Seed to Series B) is a big plus • Experience with EOS or Scaling Up methodologies Job Type: Contract
