Job Description
Founder-led company seeking a hands-on fractional COO / Chief of Staff to bring operational structure, build systems, and drive execution across multiple business initiatives.
This is not a strategy-only consulting role. We are looking for an operator who can work directly with the founder and team to identify operational gaps, implement systems, and ensure projects move forward.
The company is growing quickly and has a strong team and product. Where we need support is structure, coordination, and operational leadership across projects and departments.
You will work directly with the founder to translate priorities into execution and ensure accountability across the team.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the founder to organize and drive operational priorities
- Build structure across projects, workflows, and internal processes
- Identify operational gaps and implement systems to close them
- Create dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
- Coordinate across internal team members, contractors, and vendors
- Help hire and onboard key operational roles when needed
- Improve communication, accountability, and follow-through across teams
- Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks before they escalate
Ideal Background
- 8+ years in operations leadership, Chief of Staff, COO, or similar roles
- Experience working directly with founders or CEOs in fast-moving companies
- Proven track record building operational systems and processes
- Comfortable leading projects across multiple teams simultaneously
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Highly proactive — able to investigate problems independently and propose solutions
Bonus:
- Experience in startups, professional services, or lead generation businesses
- Familiarity with CRM systems, workflow tools, and operational dashboards
- Experience hiring or managing remote teams or contractors
Engagement Details
- Fractional engagement (20–30 hours per week)
- Initial 3-month contract with potential extension
- Remote with overlap with U.S. business hours
Compensation:
$80 – $130 per hour depending on experience
