We are seeking an experienced Fractional COO of Ecommerce to bring operational clarity, profitability focus, and systems integration to our digital business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven ecommerce operator who can simplify complexity, identify high-performing products, streamline workflows, and build scalable infrastructure across Shopify, Amazon, fulfillment, inventory, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Profitability and Product Strategy

Evaluate true profitability across products, channels, and customer segments

Identify the most successful items and recommend SKU simplification

Build a product strategy focused on scalable, high-margin winners

Reduce operational clutter and improve inventory efficiency

Operational Systems and Integration

Connect ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, fulfillment, ERP, and accounting tools into a cohesive system

Improve workflows between order management, customer service, shipping, and finance

Eliminate manual processes and establish clean operating structure

Create reliable reporting and operational visibility for leadership

Fulfillment and Execution Excellence

Optimize fulfillment operations for speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Improve shipping cost control, returns handling, and service performance

Ensure seasonal gifting programs are operationally sound and scalable

Develop SOPs and repeatable processes that reduce chaos and improve consistency

Leadership and Business Scaling

Serve as the operational right hand to the founder and leadership team

Establish KPIs, dashboards, and accountability rhythms

Drive execution across internal teams and external partners

Build the foundation required for sustainable ecommerce scale

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-driven

Proven ability to simplify assortments and increase profitability

Comfortable working fractionally with founder-led organizations
