I. Mission Help structure and optimize the internal delivery system of a growing software consultancy serving pharma and international organizations. Goal: reduce founder dependency, improve delivery reliability, and implement scalable operational processes. II. Context - Boutique consultancy (4 senior developers) - Clients: Pharma, UN, advanced analytics products - Founder currently acting as: - Delivery Manager - Technical Lead - QA gatekeeper - Sales Need to professionalize operations to scale sustainably II. Scope of Work 1) Delivery System Structuring - Define clear roles (DM, Tech Lead, Dev, QA) - Improve PR / QA governance - Create accountability framework - Formalize escalation process 2) Workflow & Process Optimization - Refine task lifecycle (Backlog → Dev → QA → Merge → Release) - Reduce bottlenecks - Improve estimation reliability - Implement simple KPI tracking (velocity, rework rate, delays) 3) Founder Dependency Reduction - Identify structural over-centralization - Design delegation system - Define decision boundaries - Reduce mental load 4) Scaling Preparation Prepare system for 5 → 10+ team members Ensure processes work without constant supervision III. Ideal Profile - Experience scaling tech service companies (5–20 people) - Has implemented SOPs and delivery frameworks - Strong understanding of remote engineering teams - Has acted as COO / Head of Ops / Delivery Director - Strategic + pragmatic (no corporate theory only) IV. Expected Outcome Clear documented delivery system Reduced rework and deadline slippage Defined ownership model Founder no longer required in every micro decision ⚠ Important This is not a DevOps role. This is not a junior project manager role. We are looking for someone who has built operational systems before.
