Job Description

We’re looking for a freelance performance creative specialist to help concept, produce, shoot, and edit paid social ad creatives for an established ecommerce brand.

This is NOT a traditional graphic design role. We need someone who understands:

  • direct response advertising
  • ecommerce customer psychology
  • Meta/TikTok ad structure
  • hooks, pacing, retention, and conversion-focused editing
  • short-form content creation for paid ads

You should be able to:

  • create original video content
  • direct or produce UGC-style content
  • shoot product/lifestyle footage
  • edit performance-focused ads
  • rapidly iterate new concepts and variations

WHAT YOU'LL CREATE

  • Meta ad creatives (Facebook/Instagram)
  • TikTok-style vertical videos
  • Original product/lifestyle footage
  • UGC-style ads
  • Voiceover/text-driven creatives
  • Static image ads
  • Motion graphics/cutdowns
  • Product-focused short-form videos
  • Variations/testing iterations of winning concepts

CREATIVE STYLE WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR

We are NOT looking for generic “corporate” creatives or polished brand commercials.

We want:

  • strong hooks in first 1–3 seconds
  • native-feeling social content
  • authentic/direct-response style ads
  • storytelling + product benefits
  • conversion-focused messaging
  • fast pacing and retention-focused editing
  • rapid testing and iteration mindset

EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • ecommerce brands
  • home décor/interiors/lifestyle products
  • DTC brands
  • consumer products

is highly preferred.

PRODUCTION EXPECTATIONS

This role includes creating NEW content — not just editing existing assets.

Depending on the concept, this may include:

  • filming product demonstrations
  • lifestyle/product-use footage
  • sourcing or coordinating UGC creators
  • creating voiceover-driven ads
  • filming iPhone/native-style content
  • light scripting/concept development

You do NOT need full commercial production capabilities.

We actually prefer:

  • fast-moving
  • authentic
  • social-native content over expensive/high-production shoots.

REQUIREMENTS

Please apply ONLY if you have:

  • proven Meta/TikTok ecommerce ad experience
  • portfolio/examples of paid social creatives
  • examples of ORIGINAL content you’ve shot yourself
  • understanding of performance metrics (CTR, hook rate, thumbstop ratio, CVR, etc.)
  • ability to create multiple variations quickly
  • strong English communication
  • reliable turnaround times

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • UGC sourcing/coordination
  • creator management
  • AI-assisted creative workflows
  • copywriting/hooks
  • direct response frameworks

DELIVERABLES/WORKFLOW

Initial expectation:

  • 3–6 new creatives per week
  • plus iterations/variations of existing winners

Typical deliverables may include:

  • 15–30 second vertical videos
  • hooks variations
  • CTA variations
  • statics
  • aspect ratio adaptations
  • raw footage capture when required

We will provide:

  • products
  • brand guidelines
  • product information
  • creative direction
  • competitor references/examples

ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE

We’re looking for someone long-term if the fit is strong.

Preferred structure:

  • ongoing monthly engagement
  • weekly deliverables
  • fast iteration cycles
  • collaborative testing approach

BUDGET/COMPENSATION

Open to:

  • fixed weekly/monthly retainers

OR

  • per-creative pricing

Typical ranges:

  • $75–$200+ per fully produced creative depending on complexity
  • OR approximately $2,000–$3,000/month ongoing depending on output and production involvement

We care much more about performance, speed, and creative instincts than ultra-polished agency-style work.
