Engagement Type: Freelance / Contract Location: Remote Duration: Project-based Overview ComOps is seeking an experienced freelance / contractor consultant with hands-on experience implementing and servicing Medallia Digital Experience Analytics (DXA, formerly Decibel). This role will support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of DXA for new clients, primarily in hospitality, gaming, and related verticals. IMPORTANT: This role requires direct, technical experience working with Medallia DXA (Decibel). Applications without demonstrated DXA experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities · Lead or support DXA (Decibel) implementations for new clients · Configure DXA features including (but not limited to): · Session replay · Heatmaps · Frustration / struggle signals · Form analytics · Funnels and behavioral analysis · Partner with client technical teams to validate tag placement, troubleshoot data capture issues, and ensure accurate and compliant data collection · Collaborate with ComOps CX and delivery teams to align DXA with broader Medallia programs · Assist with client enablement, documentation, and best-practice guidance · Support post-launch optimization and refinement as needed Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) · Hands-on, technical experience implementing Medallia DXA (Decibel) · Direct experience configuring DXA in production environments · Strong understanding of web analytics concepts · Experience with tag management (e.g., Google Tag Manager) · Experience with JavaScript-based data capture · Experience working with enterprise clients · Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred / Nice to Have · Experience with broader Medallia Experience Cloud implementations · Background in hospitality or gaming · Familiarity with privacy, consent management, and digital compliance considerations · Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment How to Apply Please include specific details of your Medallia DXA (Decibel) experience in your application (projects, clients, scope of work).
