We are looking for an applicant that can work between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST and has a strong understanding of hardware/software/networking and technical abilities. The applicant MUST speak English fluently.We are a small IT operation out of Indiana USA looking for technicians. We are currently expanding our operations and are looking to hire a full-time Helpdesk Engineer. We want to hire... people that are passionate about technology and have the drive to learn more. We are a very laid-back operation but growing very fast. We have been servicing our customers for 10 years.
Job duties would include but are not limited to:
ΓΒ Handle inbound calls from clients with various issues.
ΓΒ Manage / Install printers
ΓΒ Install/manage various routers
ΓΒ Manage/configure Microsoft office 365 including tenant setup
ΓΒ Monitoring/Implement backup systems
ΓΒ Install, upgrade, and configure workstations/servers
ΓΒ Install/manage client networks.
ΓΒ Install / Manage firewalls, and networking equipment.
ΓΒ Install / Manage VoIP phone systems
ΓΒ Setup / Manager VPN networks
ΓΒ Help users with technical issues such as QuickBooks not opening company files over the network.
ΓΒ Provide assistance with troubleshooting of software/hardware/telecom problems
ΓΒ Assist with the breakdown, relocation, and set-up of workstations to accommodate users' relocations, site relocations, site remodels, and any new location installation
ΓΒ Maintain secure patch levels on workstations as needed
ΓΒ Hard drive data retrieval (using third-party tools to retrieve information from damaged drives) as needed
ΓΒ Able to problem-solve changes in products and new challenges
ΓΒ Remotely troubleshoot client problems
ΓΒ Enter support information into the ticketing system detailing steps used to resolve client issues.
ΓΒ Take on additional duties as needed.
Must be/have:
ΓΒ Able to work in a fast-paced and high-stress work environment
ΓΒ Able to communicate effectively and professionally
ΓΒ Able to focus on work in a noisy work environment with frequent distractions, and noise
ΓΒ Able to pay attention to details
ΓΒ Knowledge of technical troubleshooting skills and should be able to identify product issues with minimal knowledge of the item being worked on.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
