About the position
The US Value and Income team at BlackRock is seeking an analyst to cover stocks across selected industries, contributing to the management of a substantial portfolio valued at US$65 billion. This role involves engaging in fundamental analysis and valuation of mid- and large-cap equities, with a focus on delivering consistent outperformance for clients. The position emphasizes collaboration within a diverse team and requires strong communication skills to effectively present investment ideas and insights.
Responsibilities • Conduct fundamental analysis and valuation of mid- and large-cap US and international equities. • Develop and present investment theses backed by conventional and alternative data. • Collaborate with team members to share insights and enhance investment strategies. • Engage with clients, prospects, and investment consultants to communicate investment strategies and performance. • Stay informed about industry dynamics and competitive analysis to support investment decisions. Requirements • 4+ years of experience in investing (buy or sell-side) preferred.
• Strong background in fundamental analysis and valuation of equities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong communication skills. • Demonstrated record of academic achievement and original thinking. • Expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
