We are looking for a FX Treasury Analyst who will be part of the day-to-day operation of the FX Treasury team, ensuring that currency exposure risk is minimized across funds through foreign currency hedging, monitoring daily FX movements, and providing insight and solutions to FX activity for funds. Working closely with other operations units like Fund Accounting, Investment Controlling and the Centralized Transaction team, the team will form part of the broader Investment Operations. Team members will be responsible for monitoring FX PnL movements and notifying interested stakeholders to facilitate settlement of these amounts and help to add efficiency through expertise. The team member will be responsible for the accuracy of the hedging of funds, reporting on costs and efficiency of hedging, and providing FX data internally for external client reporting. Ultimately the team member will be a point of contact across various internal teams and streamline FX related activity. In this position you will be responsible for: Daily monitoring of FX exposure & ensuring that internal tolerance breaches of FX exposure are investigated & rectified Calculate & place periodic rollover forward trades for feeder funds Prepare monthly & weekly FX advisory reporting for external client review for funds that do not actively hedge currency Conduct ongoing reviews of hedges placed for funds vs the actual exposure Provide advice to internal teams on FX hedging & related activities and their impacts Assist in ad-hoc deal related FX enquiries Assist internal stakeholders across SPD Continuous improvement of current procedures & looking to optimise fund performance with accurate information Other duties as required: Supports the training and development of Analysts and Senior Analysts by sharing knowledge and helping to build the skills required for their progression to advanced roles. Contributes to the overall success of SPAR’s private markets data universe by ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across all responsibilities. Engages in Expanded Scope Opportunities on a progressive basis as core responsibilities are mastered, enhancing professional growth and expanding expertise. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Possesses a bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business preferred) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred (ideally within Private Markets) Experience in private markets, particularly private debt, is highly preferred.
