About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage the design and creation of video/motion graphic elements for LED signage and in-arena programming.
- Oversee in-game video production projects and the creation of Motion Rocket graphics.
- Hire and manage part-time gameday staff for game production.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair broadcasting systems and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain technical records and engineering logs for broadcast equipment.
- Test and align new equipment prior to installation at FMBA.
- Provide support for event setup and teardown.
- Collaborate with IT for new audio and visual technology rollouts.
- Provide budget information for new system implementations.
- Manage video content and graphic creations during home games.
- Design and create graphic elements based on event digital signage calendar.
- Work closely with tenant marketing to ensure brand consistency.
- Be proficient in all aspects of game night staff positions.
- Assist in other projects as assigned by management.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, broadcasting, communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in broadcast operations.
- Working knowledge of technical production equipment and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Newtek Tricaster, Broadcast Cameras, AJA Audio/Video routers, Ross Xpression, Motion Rocket, Yamaha Audio Consoles, Clear Comm, and Vitec IPTV.
- Basic knowledge of IP Networking and signal flow.
- Strong computer software skills, particularly in Adobe and Microsoft Suites.
- Experience in video production, including pre-production, shooting, editing, and live broadcasting.
- Nice-to-haves
- Live sports television or game presentation experience is a plus.
