Job Summary:

- Job Essentials:
- Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Perform image-guided procedures when clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to patient management plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ACR (American College of Radiology) standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in continuing medical education and professional development.
- Education Requirements:
- Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Residency: Completion of a radiology residency program
- License/Certification/Registry:
- State Medical License: Must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment
- Board Certification: Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Diagnostic Radiology
