About the position
The Hartford's Innovation Center of Excellence is seeking two dynamic Generative AI Solution Consultants to. We are on a mission to transform internal processes through the strategic application of generative AI. This role is ideal for individuals who can demonstrate successful development and deployment of AI assets, thrive in hands-on environments, and can bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world business challenges. Responsibilities • Design, test, and refine prompts to achieve high-accuracy outputs across a variety of business use cases.
• Independently evaluate generative AI solutions using platforms such as OpenAI, bolthires Copilot, bolthires Gemini, and AWS Bedrock. • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities where generative AI can drive value. • Translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions. • Partner with data science, technology, and operations teams to co-design scalable, production-ready solutions. • Apply a deep understanding of claims processes to identify high-impact AI use cases and ensure solutions align with operational realities.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and test-and-learn experiments to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes. • Create and deliver presentations, training, and documentation to support adoption and understanding of AI solutions across the organization. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering, generative AI tools, and AI model evaluation. • Ability to consult with stakeholders, understand business needs, and design AI solutions that deliver measurable value. • Strong familiarity with claims operations in P&C or Group Benefits is highly preferred.
• Skilled in data analysis, hypothesis testing, and solution optimization. • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to influence and educate at all levels of the organization. • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
